I thought I didn't need a new one until I was given a "spare." Boy do those get dull after (ahem) 16+ years! :-) The new one is mighty sharp as is the brass one my secret pal gave me last year. I'll have to try the scalpel, though, sounds great!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08013668667235692785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9393658.post-1145975390451150162006-04-25T07:29:00.000-07:002006-04-25T07:29:00.000-07:00Diane,They make a scalpel with replaceable blades!...Diane,

They make a scalpel with replaceable blades!! When it gets dull you just break off the end and use the next section. Extra blades are quite inexpensive. It seems easier to control for some reason. I still use my trusty seam ripper a lot of the time too, esp on bias seams.
JoyceJoycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17083924435653058457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9393658.post-1145968030999123982006-04-25T05:27:00.000-07:002006-04-25T05:27:00.000-07:00Nothing like a good scalpel.
