Let's All Take Today to Accept Who We Are

This is lovely. If we can all accept our own flaws, then maybe we can take the next step and accept other people's "flaws." My heart is really hurting this morning reading about all the bullying and the resulting suicides around the country.

That has been haunting me too, Terry. I have been watching the series of "It Gets Better" videos on YouTube (started by Dan Savage, leading to amazing videos from Tim Gunn and the like). It's heart-breaking, and we are dealing with the aftermath of bullying with our daughter. Life for teens with any
sorts of differences can be so hard, and can affect them so deeply.

Thank you so much for posting this. I made sure both my nieces saw this as well as the Dove video that shows what a model has to go through to be in a fashion photo shoot and what's done to the photograph afterwards. It really emphasizes the fact that *nobody* is the woman in those pictures, not even the woman whose picture was taken.
